Aki Nakajima (中島 亜紀, Nakajima Aki) is the Protagonist of the 25th Period of Zekkyou Gakkyuu. Her and her mother were moving into a new apartment complex after being fed up with drama at her old home.

Appearance[]
Aki has a boyish appearance. Her clothing style is casual and basic, and her short hair frames her face with a curl tucked beneath her ears. Her bangs are corner split, mostly brushed on the left.
Personality[]
Initially, Aki kept to herself and was quiet, appearing to suffer from trust issues, doubt and anxiety from possible gossip or being an inconvenience towards others. Kindness from others surprised her.
History[]
Two months ago, Aki got into a bitter argument with her friends. It got so bad she was afraid to return to school and never left home, and neighbors would gossip about her. Her dad and mom disagreed on how to handle the problem, leading her mom to pack their things and take Aki to an apartment complex. Aki's dad tries to get her to understand that things wouldn't change running away but she refused to listen, although she kept her phone around her neck as a security item that brought her comfort.
In this time she gets to know her new neighbors and Aki quickly realizes how different this place is from their old home; everyone is so much friendlier. After hesitation in opening herself to them, Aki slowly began to let go of her past and calmed down.
She began to grow uneasy around her neighbors as they started to interrogate her when she wanted to leave for something, broke her phone and picked through her trash to find "outside items" in it. She was startled when she realized her mom was beginning to act like them and ran into her bedroom to hide, seeking her mom's phone to call her dad for help. He is confused when he gets there and remarks on how kind everyone else is, and they manage to convince Aki that rather then live in fear, she can move on from the past and embrace this life of caring and consideration. Everyone is one big, loving family here.
Aki hesitantly accepted this and opened the door, being greeted by many smiles and her concerned parents. Their family reconciled and she agreed to stay. She has no reason to be hurt by the outside world and will never be again, because she has her family. She quit attending public school and has everything she needs there.
One day as a couple of women walk by discussing the strange apartment complex, Aki observed them from her curtained room before heading off to have dinner with her parents.
