Bio[]

Appearance[]

A young man with a gentle appearance. He has rounded eyes and short, light colored hair with layered bangs.

Personality[]

Mana made her dream brother in an image of a popular character by the name of Matsui. He was described as being a cool older brother who doesn't get mad and is very kind.

He takes to Mana and does whatever he can to make her feel better, listening to her when she needs to confide in someone.

History[]

The Dream Brother first appears after Mana draws him within the sand and has a few rough days dealing with Ikumi. She was initially shocked by "Ikumi's" sudden change but quickly grew to enjoy it, being able to bond with her big brother, to the point of becoming dependent on him a bit; much to the aggravation of their mom. Everyone was impressed with the new Ikumi, including her school friends.

However, after Mana leaves home in tears one day after a dispute with their mother, dream Ikumi decides to help her. After she takes off he finds the charm book in her bedroom and used it to grant her more thoughtful and caring parental figures, which catches her off-guard when she returns home. To his confusion she isn't happy though- but angered as they try to spoil her with attention and dote on her.

She runs off after grabbing the book from him and hid in her bedroom until she realizes she must find a way to get her family back. She heads back to the shrine with Dream Ikumi and the Dream Parents following after her, and he asks her why she isn't happy now that she has her wish granted. She demands to know where her real family went, refusing to see him as her brother any longer and shoves him away. She is shocked as he falls down, with his body cracking apart and disintegrating into sand. As she begins to sink into it he makes a promise to return her to her family, because as her dream brother he would do anything to make her happy. As Mana begins to cry and blame herself for what happened, he asks her about this as the wind carries his particles of sand into the air and she loses consciousness.

After the incident, he is mentioned a final time when Mana reveals heading back to the shrine to see the drawing had disappeared.
