Bio[]

Appearance[]

Miu is a young girl with loose, short wavy hair framing her face with split bangs. She has big, partial slant eyes.

Her attire is casual.

Personality[]

A calm-tempered and brisk type towards those who she feels wronged by, but she is a good friend who is very protective over the girls of her class, who she feels share a close bond together. She is aggressive when it comes to defending someone and can be cruel when trying to spite the wrong-doer.

History[]

Prior to the story, a disagreement occurred during swim class when their teacher openly called out Yuri for pretending to be sick, then attempted to assure her that she was too young to worry over her body image. But this ended up upsetting her, and the girls comforted her while believing their Teacher looked own on them, leading them to mutually agree to ignore her. The boys ended up joining them, and Miu was pretty sure they only used it as an excuse to misbehave.

One day, Yuri approaches Miu to find her observing the scarecrow outside. Hearing a story Yuri heard from another girl, Miu suddenly gets the idea. The next day before school, she and the other girls grab the scarecrow and bring it into class. They treated it like a real Teacher while continuing to insult Kiyama, who eventually felt so threatened by their hostile attitudes that she stopped showing up. Miu was pretty sure this would give her time to think about her words and apologize. However, after returning the scarecrow back to the field Miu began to notice several oddities; including the scarecrow following her. At first she didn't think much of it, but that night at home before she left her bedroom she caught sight of a strange, shadowy figure. When she looked to find nobody, she decided to investigate the scarecrow the following day. She is startled by Kiyama's reappearance and refuses to let her speak to her, returning to class after seeing the scarecrow appear behind her.

Miu reveals what happened but nobody believes her until they look to see the scarecrow is missing. Realizing how carelessly they discarded it after their prank, she fears the worst and everyone begins to grow uneasy when they hear a sound in the hall. As everyone stands back in fear, Miu grabs a nearby chair and swings it down as soon as the door opens, knocking Kiyama out. Miu desperately tries to defend her actions by saying she didn't know it was her, but because nobody wants to be held responsible they turn their backs. They blame her for what happened, leaving Miu visibly shaken by her realization that her classmates weren't united with her like she thought. She calms down when Yuri comes to her defense by pointing out that they acted of their own free will. Before they can do anything, the class stands frozen in fear when the scarecrow suddenly appears.

Time passes and Kiyama returns to school. She thinks about Miu and wonders what could have happened to make her scared enough to attack her the way she did. But upon arriving to class, she finds that the room is entirely filled with scarecrows resembling Miu and her classmates.
